Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions.

What is Tunels?

Tunels is a secure tunneling service that exposes your local development server to the internet through a public URL with HTTPS encryption.

How do I install Tunels?

Download the Tunels CLI for your operating system, extract it, and run the executable. No installation required - it works out of the box.

Is Tunels secure?

Yes! All tunnels are encrypted with TLS/SSL. We also support password protection, IP whitelisting, and OAuth authentication for additional security.

Can I use custom domains?

Yes! Pro and Enterprise plans support custom domains. Simply add a CNAME record pointing to tunels.io and configure it in your dashboard.

What protocols are supported?

Tunels supports HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, and UDP protocols. WebSocket connections work seamlessly over HTTP/HTTPS tunnels.

Is there a free plan?

Yes! Our free plan includes 1 concurrent tunnel with a random subdomain. Perfect for development and testing.
