Tunnel-Specific Prohibited Uses
Tunneling is a dual-use technology. You are solely responsible for all traffic that passes through your tunnels. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Reverse shells and remote command execution: You may not use tunnels to establish reverse shells, command-and-control (C2) infrastructure, beaconing connections, or any form of unauthorized remote access to systems you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
- Unauthorized network access: You may not use tunnels to bypass firewalls, network security controls, or access restrictions on networks you do not administer. This includes tunneling into corporate, educational, or government networks without authorization.
- Data exfiltration: You may not use tunnels to extract or transfer data from systems without the owner's explicit consent.
- Proxy and relay for illegal activity: You may not use tunnels as a proxy, relay, or anonymization layer to facilitate illegal activity, including but not limited to hosting Tor exit nodes, open proxies, or VPN services for third parties.
- Port scanning and network reconnaissance: You may not use tunnels to scan, probe, or map networks or systems you do not own.
- Credential harvesting: You may not use tunnels to host fake login pages, intercept credentials, or conduct man-in-the-middle attacks.
User Responsibility for Tunnel Traffic

- You are solely and entirely responsible for all content served through, transmitted over, or made accessible via your tunnels.
- Tunels does not monitor, inspect, filter, or control the content of your tunnel traffic.
